A Bucket Elevator is designed to vertically transport materials from ground level to a specified height.
It features a Nylon or Rubber Belt running between a Drive Pulley at the top and a Driven Pulley at the bottom, enclosed within a fabricated casing. Buckets are fixed at regular intervals on the belt, lifting materials from the ground to higher levels. Centrifugal force empties the buckets as they pass over the top pulley.
The elevator is powered by the top pulley via a speed reduction mechanism, utilizing either a set of pulleys or a gearbox. The bottom pulley incorporates a sliding mechanism to maintain belt tension and alignment. The top pulley is rubber lagged to reduce belt wear during operation. A maintenance platform is provided at the top of the elevator for easy access.
Both pulleys are dynamically balanced to ensure quiet operation.
